Tombstone

When the posse returned to Tombstone, deputy marshal Warren delivered a letter to Garret Jr. It was a letter from Garret’s boss, sheriff Mannaron Blackwood, asking him to delve a bit into a mysterious organization known as the Glassmakers and their connection to the Hyena tribe. Of course Garret immediately thought of the piece of glass Mazarin Stark asked him to retrieve, and he decided to pay the banker a visit. This time Stark really tried to intimidate and threaten Garret, but our heroic deputy sheriff wasn’t so easily bullied.

Meanwhile, the rest of the posse found out Judge Chantel had finally succumbed to the unknown poison in his body and died. Father Geraldus had tried to raise him, but after the first succesfull raise the poison was found to be still active, and he died again. Althaea decided to wake by his body in the morgue, primarily because the disappearance of Ibbo's body from the same morgue.

A refugee of the Fox Tribe called Stealthy Rabbit came to warn Running Mouse about the Hyena Tribe, and told her they would be comming to take away her spirit companion.

That night, strange purple lights were seen at Boot Hill. The posse hurried to the graveyard to see the members of the Skeleton Gang were rising from the grave. They dispatched with the zombies quickly.

Next day was the judge's funeral. The posse noticed Lavender's absence, and because they didn't remember seeing her the day before, went to find her. Maggie fullboobs thought Lavender had finally left Tombstone like she intended to, but while investigating Lavender's room the posse found traces of her kidnapping. Without too much thought the posse decided there could be only one culprit: Mazarin Stark.

They confronted the banker in the warforged gallery at his home. Stark denied everything, of course, at the same time trying to intimidate them into telling him where the piece of glass was. When Sneed showed him he had the shard there with him, Stark ordered his warforged to attack. In the fight, Stark escaped. Althaea followed him by horse, but it was too late even for her to catch him.

While looting Stark's office, the posse found a letter, indicating an attack on the alchemist Jaheira Reece was imminent.

Attack of the Glassmakers

That night when Althaea stood on guard on the hotel's rooftop, Chalithra Pharn visited her again. Chalithra explained that because she lost her Sacred Greatspear to Althaea, she now was hunted by other members of the Order of the Hidden Moon. She had to survive the blood hunt for a moon cycle, after which she would be redeemed. She also asked Althaea to resume Chalithra's mission, the quest for the Manes of the Unicorn. After the blood hunt would be over, Althaea and Chalithra would fight a duel for possession of the relic. Althaea agreed to Chalithra's proposition, but not to have sex with her.

Later that night, the Glassmakers attacked Jaheira Reece at the same time as members of the Hyena tribe came for Running Mouse. Mouse recognized the garb and symbols of the hyena shaman as signs of worship of the demon lord Yeenoghu.

After the fight, the posse realised the collaboration between the Glassmakers, Hyena tribe and the gnolls was closer than they originally thought. They decided to go follow the clue in Rena's letter and travel to Gateborne Abbey.
