The fox tribe is an indian tribe that resides in Vertigo county, north east of Vertigo City, and is considered one of the Beast Tribes. It's Guardian Spirit is the Fox Spirit.

History

The fox tribe used to be one of the great indian tribes. The last few decade though, they have been losing in strength.

Recently

Recently, the Fox Spirit has been slowly becoming less and less responsive; general believe is that the spirit has "left" the tribe, causing a slide of the tribe into chaos, as became apparent during The Prospector's Daughter adventure.

Notable Characters

• Running Mouse used to be the name of a shaman on a self-imposed exile. She is a member of The Posse. She claimed the name Talks with Foxes when she returned, being the only remaining living shaman. She soon afterwards became the tribe's chieftain, a function she yielded to her husband when she became the second Great Chieftain of the Beast Tribes.
• Talks with Foxes is the name of the current chief-shaman. When a new chief shaman is chosen, the old shaman takes on a new name. Currently the function is held by the shaman previously known as Running Mouse, see above.
• Silent Raccoon, the current chieftain and husband to Talks with Foxes, the chief-shaman and Great Chieftain of the Beast Tribes
