Also called Grenmus Day (a commonization of the dwarven Grunmesdeg or Day of Furnaces), this feastday of dwarven origin is celebrated on the winter equinox. It is a domestic celebration stressing the joys of a stable family life.


In Memnon, fathers dress up like dwarves with big white beards and pillows stuffed under their clothes to bring their children presents to be opened by the fire. Although some dwarves are insulted by this practice, most find it rather hilarious that these men put on such warm clothing to sit by a fire in Memnon's hot climate...
