Sacred Service of Stability

Every sunday, every law abiding citizen of the Thule empire must visit the nearest church or chapel for the Sacred Service of Stability.

The service begings with asking Aedon for his blessing with the following prayer: May the rising and setting of the sun be the most special thing that happens this week. It ends, after a reading from The Bible and a lengthy sermon, with each member confessing to the priest every special thing that was undertaken that week, ranging from the most forbidden (like murder, necromancy or praying to false gods) to the seemingly mundane (such as visiting the monthly market in a nearby city).

Due to its uninspiring nature the Sacred Service of Stability has also secretly been known as the Sunday Service of Sleepiness. More recently Heliocentric priest having been trying to reform the Sacred Service of Stability into a more lively meeting by following up the sermon with half an hour of hymns and psalms dedicated to the saints in general and Helios in particular.
