The Morbid Sands

A mythical desert plane, mostly known from the dessicated monsters that are rumored to sometimes escape from it. It is one of the mirrors of The World, a parallel plane with about the same geography and landmarks as it’s parent plane.

The plane consists of an enormous desert of pale sand, litered with the ancient bones of huge beasts. The desert storms sometimes lay bare the thousands, maybe millions of mummified bodies buried beneath the surface. Huge necropolisses build of white marble stand in places that on the material plane are associated with death.
