Mazarin Stark send the posse to a abandoned silver mine. The mine belonged to Gormadoc Vega, who died about 2 years ago from a spiderbite. His daughter, Kessa Vega dissapeared after bringing her father's body back to Tombstone. Now she was missing long enough to presumed dead, and Mazarin bought the mine.
Gormadoc was known to own a special warforged, and Stark asked the posse to retrieve the warforged, that was rumored to be "just lying there".

Dead Fox Tribe members
On road to the silver mine, the posse came upon a field of slain fox tribe members. Ashamed One who Fishes for Salmon with Spear, an old childhood friend of Running Mouse that almost made Shaman instead of her, was found slain on that field, in full shaman's clothes. The battlefield also showed that recently a ritual had been undertaken there to forcibly remove a spirit companion from a shaman, of which Salmon was the logical recipient.
Following the tracks, the posse found the two members of the fox tribe that had performed it the ritual, in company of two bandits a gnoll. They were summoning a Demon, but were defeated by the posse before they were able to do real harm with is. These two told Mouse that everyone in her tribe had either converted to worshiping Chaos or was branded as traitor to the tribe. She responded: "Those that have left the tribe are not traitors, but those that have left Fox are", after which they asked her who she was. When she responded with her full name (which was the first time the posse heard it), they visually responded to that name and fled.
The Vega Mine
In the silver mine, the posse battled deathjump spiders, a blue slime, rats and a Kobold protecting his brood mother, stirges and a carrion crawler. They found a small statue representing a fury, of which Armos Huhl later said it could be a key to unlock hidden treasure chambers under Castle Verge.
A small hole in the floor brought them to an ancient earth temple, remnants of a long-gone form of Demetra worship. Here they found the warforged, dead by walking into a scything blade trap, and where attacked by zombies, galeb duhr, and a mummie.
The warforged looked like a 15-year old girl. It appeared Mazarin Stark had "forgotten to mention" that Kessa Vega and the warforged were one and the same.
Bandits Attack!
After the posse had explored all of the mines, they decided to return to Tombstone. At the exit of the mine a group of bandits was waiting for them. The leader of the bandits, the spellslinger Tonja, ordered the posse to hand over all their riches (including the found warforged), or else she would loose her cavetroll on them. Of course the posse attacked. In the following battle, Tonja escaped.
Running Mouse, Garret Jr. and Althaea followed her to a large bandit camp in the waste. Seeing they were clearly outnumbered, they headed back for Tombstone.
Meanwhile, Dapper and Sneed had Kessa Vega raised by father Geraldus. Dapper went to Mazarin Stark to tell him the deal was off: They wouldn't give him the warforged girl, and since she was Gormadoc Vega's adopted daughter it had to be seen if Stark would still be able to claim ownership over the silvermine. Stark was... upset.
On his way out Dapper met Mazarin's lovely, but tipsy, wife Isabella Stark. She gave him a warm feeling in his underbelly.
Raid on the Bandit Camp
Not being fond of loose ends, the posse decided to attack the bandit camp. Marla Anhor joined them. After a long battle against orcs, bandits, dry ones from the Morbid Sands, Tonja, the Aedonic priest Vincente, and the half orc Bandvong, interrogation of Tonja confirmed what the posse already suspected: The bandits were hired by "some rich guy in Tombstone".
Looting the camp, the posse found a painting, depicting Isabella Stark in the nude.
